How can we help?

Everything you need to know about your order, delivery, returns and your Pleene™ bedding. Can't find your answer? We're only an email away.

Ordering & Payment

Which payment methods do you accept?
Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), PayPal and PayPal Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Klarna. Availability depends on your device and country — the full list appears at checkout. All payments are processed over an encrypted connection.
Is my payment secure?
Yes. Checkout runs through Shopify Payments and our other payment providers over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card details.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
We process orders within 1–2 business days, so email support@pleene.com as soon as you can with your order number. If your order hasn't been packed yet, we'll amend or cancel it. If it has already shipped, our 90-Day Risk-Free Guarantee still applies.
Will I receive an order confirmation?
Yes. A confirmation email arrives straight after ordering, followed by a shipping confirmation with your tracking number once the parcel is on its way. If nothing arrives, check your spam folder, then contact us.

Shipping & Delivery

Where do you ship to?
We ship to the United Kingdom and the United States. UK orders go out with Royal Mail®, US orders with USPS — both with tracking and insurance included.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is free on orders of £100 / $100 and over. Below that, standard shipping is a flat £4.95 / $4.95.
Order value United Kingdom United States
Up to £99.99 / $99.99 £4.95 — Royal Mail® $4.95 — USPS
£100 / $100 and up Free — Royal Mail® Free — USPS
Priority Handling (any order) £7.95 $7.95
Tracking and insurance are included on every option.
How long does delivery take?
Order processing 1–2 business days
Transit 4–6 business days
Total 5–8 business days
These are estimates, not guarantees. Holidays, seasonal peaks, carrier delays and customs processing can add time.
What does Priority Handling actually do?
It moves your order to the front of the queue during processing and packing, before it is handed to the carrier. It shortens the 1–2 day processing window — it does not speed up the carrier, and it does not guarantee a delivery date.
How do I track my order?
Your shipping confirmation email contains the tracking number. Tracking can take 24–48 hours to start updating after dispatch — that gap is normal. If you have no tracking information within 3 business days of the shipping confirmation, email support@pleene.com.
My parcel is late, missing or damaged
Contact us within 14 days of the estimated delivery date at support@pleene.com. For damage, include your order number plus clear photos or video of both the packaging and the product — that's what we need to open a carrier claim. We'll investigate and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate. This timeframe helps us act quickly and does not limit your statutory rights.
What if my address was wrong?
If a parcel can't be delivered because the address was incomplete or incorrect, delivery was refused, or the parcel wasn't collected, return and re-delivery costs may be passed on to you. Please double-check your address before completing checkout. We don't deliver to PO Boxes unless stated at checkout.
Will I pay customs or import charges?
Unless stated otherwise at checkout, any customs duties, taxes or import fees charged by your local authorities are your responsibility. We can't control or predict customs processing times.

Returns & Guarantee

What is the 90-Day Risk-Free Guarantee?
If you're not satisfied, you can request a refund within 90 days of receiving your order — no questions asked. Email support@pleene.com first; in many cases we can resolve things without you sending anything back, which saves packaging, transport and emissions.
How does this relate to my legal right to cancel?
They're separate, and you can use whichever suits you.
  • Your statutory right: UK customers can cancel within 14 days of receiving the order, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
  • Our 90-Day Guarantee: a voluntary promise on top, giving you far longer to decide.
Nothing on this page limits your statutory rights.
How do I request a refund?
Email support@pleene.com with:
  • Your order number
  • The email address used for the order
  • A short note on why you'd like a refund
  • Photos, if the issue is damage or a product fault
Please don't post anything back before we confirm. Unapproved returns may not be accepted.
How long do refunds take?
Refunds go back to your original payment method and can take up to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Who pays for return shipping?
If a physical return is needed, return shipping is paid by the customer — unless the return is due to an error on our side, such as a wrong or damaged item, in which case we cover it. Original shipping fees are non-refundable for the same reason. Approved returns must be sent back within 90 days of approval.
Can I return a duvet I've already slept under?
Contact us either way — that's what the 90-Day Guarantee is for, and we'll find a fair solution. For a physical return, bedding is a personal-use product, so we may not be able to accept items that are heavily used, washed, stained or damaged. Items returned should be unused or only lightly tested and in clean condition.
What is the 180-Day Return Policy upgrade?
An optional £2.99 add-on at checkout that extends your return window from 90 to 180 days. All other conditions of our returns process stay the same.

Will a fitted sheet fit my mattress depth?
Don't worry about mattress depth — the stretchy fabric adapts to fit. If you have a deep mattress or a boxspring with a topper, email us the depth before ordering and we'll confirm the fit.
Which size should I choose?
Lay your current duvet out flat and measure it — that's the most reliable method. If your bed is 180 cm wide and two people share it, many customers prefer the 200 × 200 cm Double for extra overhang. Still unsure? Email us your bed width and we'll tell you which size to take.

Pleene EasyRest™ (2-in-1 Duvet)

Do I really not need a duvet cover anymore?
Correct. The EasyRest™ is duvet and cover in one. Wash the whole thing, lay it back on the bed, done — no wrestling a cover over a duvet ever again.
Why is it more hygienic than a normal duvet?
Because you wash the whole duvet, not just a cover. With a conventional set the duvet itself is rarely washed, so sweat, skin cells and dust mites accumulate in the filling over years. Here, every wash cleans the entire thing.
Is it suitable for summer and winter?
Yes. The breathable construction helps regulate temperature through the night.
How quickly does it dry after washing?
It fits in any standard household washing machine and dries considerably faster than a conventional duvet.

Pleene CoolRest™ (Cooling Duvet)

How does the CoolRest™ keep me cool?
Two things work together. The breathable ice-silk face has a measured Q-Max value of 0.3 W/cm², so it draws heat away the moment it touches your skin. The open structure then lets body heat and moisture escape rather than building up under the duvet.
What is the Q-Max value and why does it matter?
Q-Max measures how much heat a fabric pulls from your skin in the first moment of contact — the higher the number, the cooler it feels. Standard cotton typically sits around 0.13–0.18 W/cm². The CoolRest™ measures 0.3 W/cm² in lab testing. It describes the instant cool-touch sensation, not the temperature of your room.
Is the CoolRest™ suitable all year round?
It's built for warm nights and hot sleepers, so it comes into its own from spring through summer. If you sleep warm year-round, many customers use it through the colder months too — but if you want one duvet that also handles a cold bedroom, the EasyRest™ is the better fit.
Do I need a separate duvet cover?
No — and you shouldn't use one. The CoolRest™ works on direct skin contact, so a cover in between blocks exactly the effect you bought it for.

Care & Material

How do I wash my Pleene duvet?
Both duvets go in a normal household machine — no separate cover to deal with.
  • Gentle cycle at a low temperature — see the care label for the exact setting
  • No fabric softener — it coats the fibres and reduces the cooling effect
  • No bleach, no dry cleaning, no hot iron
  • Air dry, or tumble dry on low
Always follow the care label on your product. Damage caused by ignoring the care instructions isn't covered by warranty.
Are Pleene duvets suitable for allergy sufferers?
They suit most allergy sufferers well: no feathers or down, and you can wash the entire duvet regularly, which is what keeps dust mite allergens down. We can't make medical claims — if you have a diagnosed allergy, check the material details on the product page against your own advice.
How should I store my duvet when not in use?
Make sure it's completely dry, then fold it into a breathable storage bag and keep it somewhere cool and dry. Avoid sealed plastic — trapped moisture is what causes musty smells. Our EasyStore™ bag holds up to two duvets (L) or three (XL).
